Yeharr...crunch! Something wrong with the 'steering?' geddit? Sorry, I'm a pale limey who has never rounded up a dogie on a horse. Have on foot though! They weren't Dogies, they were Herefords, not as romantic somehow.
Somehow that made me think of Disney's Lion King... slimy, yet satisfying... either way... it's one of those things that makes you go hmmm.
Sognatrice!
HA HA HA... that's so funny. Know what else? She's probably going to wash it and use it for it's intended use again after the light is repaired. Not sure what she'll do with the duct tape.
Jon,
Fell off my chair giggling at this... you are SO funny. Steering. I thought you rounded up jack russels?
And, there's nothing romantic about the cowboys in this part of wyoming... just nothing at all. Jackson Hole, your getting warmer. This tiny town? Not even close.

I should have mentioned... this vehicle belongs to an old lady... as does the handkerchief. She was sitting on her porch swing smoking a cigarette when I took this picture. She's in her late 70's, I think.
It is funny. The old lady didn't say anything, or even acknowledge my presence, I walked by it, laughed at it, took a couple shots and walked away. She just sat there and smoked. It DOES look better than red tape. Much more festive.
Thanks, it was 2 am when I finished the poem, so I had no idea how it turned out. I had to go to Minx' page to find out the next day. Glad you like it, yours is very good too!
I fell right off my chair when I read that... absolutely hilarious.
Because it's true.
If I were a cloth car, I would have a white gauze linen exterior and a levi jeans interior. What a great idea! Talk about environmentally friendly!
I loathe flaunting brand names for reasons that would make a whole new post if I listed them, (mostly because if I do, then I'm paying them to advertise their product, and I should be paid to advertise their product... I better not get started on this).... BUT this is a really funny idea. I love your sense of humor. Very good!
I love it! It's rugged yet elegant. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine the conversation preceding placement:
ReplyDelete"No honey, not the BLUE one. The truck is red for goodness' sake!"
Great photo :)

Very funny stuff, though I must admit, it looks a heckuva lot better than the usual red tape that is used.
ReplyDeleteLoved your poem on Inner Minx. Nicely done.
Hello Mr. GoodThomas,

Jack Russells round me up!!!
ReplyDeleteNot Romantic? No Lone Ranger? No Tonto? Crash tinkle...sound of shattering illusions!
Oh Jon, poor thing, you are thinking of Montana.
ReplyDeleteWyoming is a whole other place.
The Lone Ranger and Tonto are definitely Montana. Big Sky country.
S'okay.

ha ha reminds me of the state of cars in my country or rather mine....and may i add you to my blog list....
ReplyDeleteHello Deepthi,
ReplyDeleteIt would seem that this is a universal phenomenon. It's a funny one, so I'm glad it's everywhere, hopefully laughter is rampant.
Please feel free to link if you would like, and thank you!

lol!
ReplyDeleteIt is same all over the world!
I bet they have a dog who is relieved he doesn't have to wear the bloody thing round his neck any more.
ReplyDeleteCloth cars, now wouldn't that be great, a sarong on an economy vehicle, an Oscar gown on a BMW. And a Hummer would wear a bullet-proof vest.
I think we should also have designer band aids, it would be my only chance for a label.
Gautami,
ReplyDeleteWe are the world... la la la...
We are the cowboys... la la la...

I've seen these for dog collars but never on a car. Remember Def Leopard?
ReplyDeleteI would brake for this.
Hi Colleen!
ReplyDeleteYes, I do remember Def Leppard! I still have all their cd's, they will be in concert in this vicinity soon... bet I will be there!
With no bandana on... ;o)-
One never knows what they'll see when they venture out...
