Mt Kilimanjaro?
Hello Lee!
You are in the right place... but we are at a very specific point looking for a very specific thing.
What are we getting, and from where exactly, are we getting it?
;o)
Scarlett & Viaggiatore
Scarlett,I'm wandering just out side your livingroom window for the next two weeks.
see you when I return.

Rel!
Is that who's been out laying in the grass under my pine trees?
Thought you looked familiar! Have a great time. Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back.

You are looking for elderberry from the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, an extinct volcano.
It is native to Northern Africa and is used to treat fever as well as various other ailments.
Hearts!
Hello lady! Missed you around here!
It is not Elderberry. Much colder than that...
;o)

Are you getting some of the (receeding) glacier from Kibo Peak?
There is also a water holding cabbage at alpine altitudes... of genus Dendrosencio, but I don't think that is cold enough.
Ooh this is a toughie....
Lee,
You aren't far off with that glacier, but something very specific that could be found ON the glacier...
Michelle,
Yes, this is a tough one. The next one isn't quite this tricky!

the snows of Kilimanjaro?
Lobelia grows on Mt. Kilimanjaro, and is used to treat fever.
In fact, it grows right through snow, and is a larger variety than the tiny, mostly blue flowers grown in the US for bedding and hanging baskets.
Stopping by to give a little blog ♥
Lee!
You got it again! YAY! Great job.
You're really giving everyone a run for the prize here!
Dearest Hearts,
I love all of the cool suggestions that you come up with and I wonder how many fascinating things you uncover while you are doing your research! I'm going to trail behind you a bit and read about what you've offered up here.
Thank you!
Scarlett & Viaggiatore
