How the electric company really does it.
Dead End huh? No kidding!

Does this mean you're home from vacation? :) I hope you had a wonderful time.
If the first picture is how the electric company does it, is the second how the water company does it? We need more of that wet stuff in my neck of the woods. Unfortunately, I suspect we won't see any for at least 6 months now, maybe more. Sigh.
Those frozen trees look like the stretch of road between my town and the city. They're so beautiful when they're frozen like that.
Hello Jules!
Nope... I leave on Tuesday afternoon, will be back the day before Easter.
*HA HA HA* Yes, that's how the water company does it, I'll have to adjust the quote. Thank you!
Hi Kat!
They are beautiful, but they are very dangerous. The ice on those weighs the branches down so much that they break off. Some people died in that ice storm, being hit by falling limbs. Power lines were downed and people were stranded, so beautiful yes, and I love the photo, but deadly and dangerous.

Scarlett,
Bon voyage ma cher!!!
Nature: beautiful and dangerous at the same time.
Nature is a female entity, right? ;-)
xo,

Wow, that's a lot of weather!
You are coming here soon though aren't you? Today has been glorious sunshine, though still a chilly wind. Hope our good weather lasts for you (still sorry not to be seeing you)
Enjoy your trip if I don't 'see' you before.

The weather is mad - that is all I have to say.
Beautiful white trees! But for living amongst I prefer the green variety!
Yowzer - those are staggering images - I feel cold and chilly just looking at them. Time to hide under the duvet!

My dear Rel,
*HA HA HA*, Yes, Rel, Mother Nature is a beautiful and dangerous feminine entity!
Not unlike many of us... ;o)
Suburbia,
Yes, ma'am, we will be through there very soon, I wish we had time to visit with you over tea!
Perhaps next time. In the meantime, big hugs for you!!
Minxy,
I hope it's not mad where we're going!
XOXO
Miss Molly,
I prefer the green ones too, but I like to have the white ones once in a while.
;o)
Vanilla!
XO!
I know... doesn't it look absolutely frigid? But beautiful...
Start a fire and get the cocoa!

Great shots! Sometimes I get wistful about ice covered winter trees, and then I remember snow shovels and ice picks, tire chains and goose bumps even under 7 sweaters.
Dearest Hearts,
*shudder* I know. I've been there.
The weather forecasters are predicting 10-18 inches of snow over the next 3 days. Sigh.
I miss the daffodils in Scotland.

Hey, I was in that ice storm! In fact, that might be my road!
It was so beautiful, but really horrible at the same time. I have never seen anything quite like that in my time living here. Pretty amazing.
Hello Wendy,
Welcome!
It is very beautiful there, when the weather is warm. I haven't seen it otherwise, except in photographs.
Glad you made it through the ice storm!!
