Falling All Over Us

These are some early autumn shots as summer hasn't quite dissolved yet, the best of the season will be posted next week.

Gorgeous photos! Makes one miss living where there are four distinct seasons. I did a double take when I clicked over here and saw the date at the top----1 st. December! I had to pinch myself to be sure it was me sitting here in the chair and not old Mr. Van Winkle.....

And now I've read it and am hungry for more.....Great writing Scarlett!

Great pictures! I LOVE the fall. I can't wait to go home and experience it. This 90 degree weather crap is killing me

Molly van Winkle,

Thanks! Glad you like them, there will be really good ones up next week! It's early still...
Dec 1 is so that the post stays at the top of the page. It's a chronological thing. Hopefully the story will be written by then, but there are 48 lions, so who knows.

It's a good story, if you click the link, you'll get the latest bit. Unless everyone keeps writing faster than Seamus can post... which seems to have been the case over this weekend.

90 degrees... in your condition. Great. Well, I'll send some cool air your way... It's very lovely here.

Great autumn photos. The leaves are falling fast here too. I'm dreading winter, though.

Late summer, I would say. Splendid photos, Scarlett! Thank you for sharing them with us.

We had such a dry summer that the weather forecasters tell us to not expect a pretty fall. This makes me cranky. But I'll just come here and enjoy your photos to make me feel better about things.

Love, love, love the photos. Such great colors--a mix of fall and the departing summer.

I'm off to read at Shameless now :)

Yay! Colorado autumn vacation for you, great! Glad you enjoyed them.

Coming from you, that's quite a compliment!
I'm dreading winter too... sigh.
Not Christmas, just winter.

Aren't they great! Had to share.
More to come, best for last you know.

It is the transition of later summer to fall, here in Denver, but in the mountains it's definitely fall.... those pics to come in a week or so!

It's SO good to see you back, missed you tons!!
Yes, come enjoy fall in Colorado as often as possible.
More to come!

Yay! She loves them... *grins*... I'm hoping to see photos from you soon too, lady bella!
Let me know what you think of the story!
