Phoctober 7th

Phoctober Phun with Moon Topples
It rained...
There were cows...

There were trees of gold

And snow in the hills...

And snow by the creek and autumn trees, just a dusting of it...
What a good weekend.

Beautiful. Here the colors I saw were the top of the Sears Tower lighted pink in honor of breast cancer week. Beauty in its own way but I miss the natural wonders!

Nice shots of pretty things, Scarlett. You very nearly made me miss Colorado for a moment there.

Wow, living in a city those shots seem so unreal to me; all that SPACE. Anyway I popped by to tell you that I've passed on a little something to you at my blog. Hope you like it!

Tutubi,

Welcome!
Yes... vast land. Cows are in abundance, as are wild animals that live in the mountains.
The snow has been mild and is still just new, so there isn't much of it.

I invite you to come by this page and enjoy these mountains any time you like.

Sarala,

GOOD- there are places that light up pink here as well. It's important to remember.
There are many natural wonders, everywhere, but there will be more here next week, as I am heading up into the mountains again this weekend.

Maht,

Nearly? I miss it every time I leave. Love to go, and love to come home.
I'll see about doing my best to refresh your memory. It's a place that should not be forgotten.

Verilion,

There's a lot of space, and a lot of nature and HEIGHT... there are several '14ers' here; that is, mountains that are 14,000+ feet tall. The snow does not melt at the top of those.
More shots to come, and thanks SO MUCH for the award! That's so NICE!

Man! Can I move there? The grass is always greener. The hills mountainous-er.

I see you had a lovely weekend (with rain) as well...gorgeous photos as always. Only wish we could watch those clouds together.

It is still 90 something in the Sonoran desert. It almost seems unreal to see snow...

PK,

Ooooh, the hills are aliiiiiiiive, with the sound of baaaaaaaaaaseballlll....
GO ROCKIES!!

Sognatrice,

Well, at least we share them electronically. Cloud sisters.
How do you say cloud in Italian?

Leslie,

Ha! You know what, I was thinking the same thing; WHAT?! SNOW?!!! No way.
But there it was.

Vanilla,

Hmm... I have some doubts as to the veracity of that statement... you are a worker of words, and a darn good one too. I think they could not escape you because they've taken up permanent residency with you.

Alaleh,

Yes. We have had some snow. The first ski run opens this weekend. It's a big to do... although there won't be much snow, there's enough to ski on.
